May 5, 2011Missed “Disney on Ice: Toy Story 3” at UNO’s Lakefront Arena? No worries, all the lovable characters – Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and the gang are together again May 6-8 at the Baton Rouge River Center.
Combining moments from “Toy Story” and “Toy Story 2,” the latest installment follows Buzz, Woody and the “Toy Story” gang as they plan their escape from the rambunctious tots of Sunnyside Daycare and race for home in their most daring adventure ever.
The show features a few new faces: Barbie’s groovy bachelor Ken and Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear.
Like its predecessors, the ice-capade is jam-packed with fast-paced adventure, including Buzz’s galactic battle with Emperor Zurg and a hoe-down at Woody’s Roundup. The happy ending features a touching scene between college-bound Andy and the boys.
