May 11, 2017Being a big brother or big sister is hard work and a big transition.
But Terrebonne General Medical Center is offering the opportunity for local youngsters to have some of those growing pains eased.
The hospital is hosting a Sibling Class on Monday from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the Women’s Health Center’s Multipurpose Room.
Cost to participate is $10 per child and all children ages 2-10 are eligible.
According to a release posted on the hospital’s website, the event is “designed to meet the needs of children … who will be becoming big brothers and big sisters.”
The one-time course is expected to touch on jealousy, feeding, holding a newborn, and normal newborn care.
According to the release, the class is informative, but entertaining, and a tour of the Women’s Center will be available to all in attendance.
