Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) added an esteemed radiologist to its staff on Nov. 1.

Dr. Jeremy Rou joined the TGMC team at the beginning of this month, an exciting day for the hospital, according to officials.

Dr. Rau earned his medical doctorate from LSU Health Sciences Center – Shreveport. He interned in internal medicine at Ochsner Health System in New Orleans, then completed his diagnostic radiology residency at the University of South Alabama Hospitals in Mobile.

Dr. Rau is a native of Houma and according to a news release, he is eager to provide care for the people of the region.

Dr. Rau is certified by the American Board of Radiology and belongs to numerous professional memberships, including the American College of Radiology, Southern Radiological Society and the Radiological Society of Louisiana.

“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Jeremy Rau to TGMC,” said Phyllis Peoples, TGMC’s President and CEO. “Dr. Rau brings extensive knowledge in radiology with his work throughout in the Gulf Coast.”
