The Terrebonne Garden Club held their March meeting at the Terrebonne Parish Main Library. The program speaker was Brian Pontiff of Landscape Logistics. He is a certified horticulture specialist with LSU. Pontiff answered questions about turf planting, fertilization, plant diseases, and flower selections. Pictured with Pontiff is Janet Myers, Garden Club Member and program coordinator.
Ganier’s Southdown Gardens was awarded the Terrebonne Garden Club’s Civic Pride Award for the month of March. Pictured are Gary Ganier and Pam Taylor, with their yellow violas and pink petunias putting on a colorful spring display.
