Community theater is alive and well in Thibodaux! Director Rene LeBlanc and their crew and cast of players really knocked their performance of the Rocky Horror Picture Show out of the park. The cast’s racy yet charming delivery of the Rocky Horror Picture Show to the audience was electric. The entire cast and crew were devoted to a vibrant performance and they succeeded!
Malcom Parfait brought the house completely down in his performance as Dr. Frank-n-Furter. All of the players brought something special to the table, but one other cast member caught the eye of this reviewer. Teagan Dominique is a rising star. Her rendition in the role of Janet Weiss, sweet, blonde, babe in the woods tonight was inspired. A perfect combination of both innocence and risqué. Her partner, Ray Rodrigue, was no less invested in their role as Brad Majors.
The show was interactive and provocative. While the Rocky Horror Picture Show completed its run, visit the Playhouse online for information and tickets to upcoming performances during their 65th season.
Kudos to the young theater community, still thriving in Thibodaux!
