Boil water advisory in Terrebonne

Consolidated Waterworks District 1 is issuing a boil water advisory to cover the area along Bayou Black from the Bayou Black tank to the end of Terrebonne parish.

A vehicle hit an overhead bayou crossing waterline along Zimmer Rd. in Gibson which caused the pressure to drop in the area. Customers in the Bayou Black and Gibson area may experience low water pressure, no water or brown water due to this incident. Crews working to get the crossing repaired and restore the pressure to these areas. The District will keep you updated with the situation as new developments arise.
