December 30, 2010Terrebonne Parish President Michel Claudet will host a fourth season of town hall meetings in 2011.
The sessions are conducted as an open forum with initial statements followed by public interaction.
Presentations are customized to address needs and issues pertaining to the specific neighborhoods and communities where they are held. Larger parish concerns may also be addressed during these meetings.
The most commonly addressed matters from past town hall meetings have included drainage, infrastructure, environmental management, economic development and quality of life issues.
Meetings are scheduled to begin on the following dates and at locations at 6 p.m.
They will be conducted at the Government Tower in Houma on Jan. 11; St. Bridget Church Annex in Schriever on Jan. 18; Devon Keller Memorial Center in Gibson on Jan. 20; American Legion Hall Post 380 in Chauvin on Jan. 27; Grand Caillou Recreation Center in Dulac on Feb. 8; Montegut Recreational Center in Montegut on Feb. 10; and at the Dularge Recreation Center in Dularge on Feb. 15.
