Detectives from the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office are still investigating the death of 45-year-old Lori Ann Ezell.

Ezell’s body was found underneath the Dularge Overpass, near Bayou Dularge Road, at 7:26 a.m., last Wednesday morning. Through further investigations, witnesses reported seeing Ezell on the bridge earlier that morning.

According to police, one motorist saw Ezell waling across the overpass at approximately 6:21 a.m., a time that the bridge was open for boat traffic. The bridge reopened for vehicular traffic at 6:26 a.m., and the motorist reportedly, again saw Ezell walking on the bridge.

However, reports say that a motorist crossing the overpass at 6:30 a.m. did not see anyone walking on the bridge at that time.

Earlier in the morning, at approximately 6:10 a.m., Ezell was seen walking along La. 661, near the Houma Navigational Bridge.

Ezell was found wearing a scrub uniform that included the colors blue, pink, green and white with flowers.

It is still unknown how Ezell could have fallen from the bridge.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office detective bureau at (985) 876-2500.
