October 12, 2019The race to become District Judge in the 17th Judicial District Court is headed to a run-off.
Marla Abel will take on Rene Gautreaux in a run-off in November.
Abel secured 45 percent of more than 27,000 ballots cast over multiple parishes. Gautreaux received 37 percent of the votes.
Todd Joffrion picked up 19 percent of the vote.
