Gray, LA – Explore Houma is proud to announce the promotion of Tara Morvant to Director of Marketing and Communications.

 

In her new role, Morvant will oversee the strategic direction of Explore Houma’s marketing and communications initiatives, including public relations, digital marketing, content creation and branding. She will also work closely with local businesses, media partners and community leaders, focusing on expanding the visibility of Louisiana’s Bayou Country and driving tourism to Terrebonne Parish.

 

Morvant has been a key part of the Explore Houma team, previously serving as the Communications and Public Relations Manager. Her dedication to promoting the unique culture, outdoor adventures and history of the region has significantly contributed to the organization’s success. With her expertise in media relations, storytelling and tourism marketing, she will lead new initiatives to further enhance the destination’s brand, both nationally and internationally.
