Free child safety seat check Saturday

Trooper Evan Harrell of Troop C said the check-up event is will be held from 10 am to 2 pm Sat., Nov. 8 at the west Houma Walmart parking lot, 1633 Martin Luther King Blvd.

 

Appointments are not required.

 

“Nearly three out of four child restraints are installed improperly,” Harrell said. “It I important that caregivers ensure children are properly restrained I an appropriate child safety seat, booster seat or seat belt, every trip, every time.”
