H. L. Bourgeois High School announced the eighth principal of the school, Casannah Moses.
Moses released the following statement today:
“My name is Casannah Moses, and I am delighted to serve as the new principal of H. L. Bourgeois High School. Our school community has dedicated and talented members committed to doing what is in the best interest of our students.
My professional background is rooted in education and leadership. I have devoted 19 years in Terrebonne Parish, having served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and principal in various schools within the district. I am a graduate of Grambling State University where I received my B.S. in Elementary Education. In addition, I am a two-time graduate of Nicholls State University where I received a M.ED in Curriculum and instruction and M.ED +30 in Ed. Leadership.
I am elated to know that I am joining a school community committed to creating “BRAVE leaders for tomorrow’s world.” I look forward to meeting our students, teachers, parents, and community members, and welcome your input and support. I am excited about all we will accomplish together and look forward to celebrating our success!”
