May 21, 2007Houma Police arrested a local man Thursday afternoon after a search warrant conducted at his St. Michel Street residence turned up drugs, authorities said.
Michael D. Robichaux, 50, of 121 St. Michel St., Houma, was charged with possession of legend drugs and transported to the Terrebonne Parish Jail, police said.
After receiving numerous complaints of drug activity at the residence, police got the search warrant. Authorities said several drugs that required a doctor’s prescription n which Robichaux did not have have n were found inside the home. The drugs were seized for evidence.
If convicted, Robichaux faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
