Houma man caught with drugs

Michael James Prestenbach, 43, 171 Houma Highland Court, Houma, was arrested Friday on drug charges, a Houma Police spokesman said.

Lt. Todd Duplantis said officers spotted Prestenbach’s 1990 Chevrolet truck at 2:05 a.m. Friday parked at Jim Bowie Park after curfew hours. When they approached the Houma man, Duplantis said they noticed a bag of suspected marijuana on the seat.

Prestenbach was arrested and issued a summons for possession of marijuana. The marijuana was seized by officers for evidence, Duplantis said.
