Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office and Chackbay Fire Department are on scene of an overturned 18-Wheeler on Hwy 20 between LA 307 and Mars Street.
The overturned truck was hauling fertilizer.
Through traffic can utilize LA 307 and Mars Street around the crash, but please avoid this area if possible. There is no estimate of time as to when the roadway will be cleared. Louisiana State Police is investigating the crash itself.
