Bayou Arts Fest to Showcase Celebrity Artist at this year’s October Festival

The South Central Planning and Development Commission (SCPDC) is calling on residents, community leaders, organizations, and businesses across Lafourche, Terrebonne, and Assumption Parishes to provide their input on the 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) for the Houma-Thibodaux Metropolitan Planning Organization (HTMPO). This comprehensive plan will shape transportation planning and investments in the region over the next 25 years, addressing all surface transportation modes, including driving, biking, walking, public transit, and freight.
The SCPDC emphasizes the importance of community feedback to ensure that the MTP reflects the priorities and needs of stakeholders. The commission urges residents to take part in a brief survey to help create a shared vision for the future of transportation in the region.
