Lafourche Sheriff’s Office to host RAD Kids course

The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office will hold a RAD Kids defense course for children ages 5 to 12 in Thibodaux.

The course will be July 26-30. Class times will be 10 to 11:30 a.m. for children 5 to 7 and 1 to 2:30 p.m. for children ages 8 to 12.

The cost to register is $10 per child, and those interested are asked to call Sgt. Carla B. Landry at (985) 537-9656, or e-mail carla-landry@lpso.net.

The deadline to register July 23.

RAD stands for “resist aggression defensively.”
