The vertical lift bridge crossing Bayou Lafourche at Hwy 657 in Larose is currently closed to both vehicle and vessel traffic. Marine vessels are not being allowed to travel through the bridge at this time due to the condition of the center lift span.
No time frame has been announced for this closure. Port Fourchon Harbor Police will release an update when more information is available.
