Runneth Over, the mobile coffee truck business bringing delicious drinks to the bayou area, has recently announced they will be the new owners of Jeaux on the Geaux in Gray–officially making it “Runneth Over Cafe.”

This news comes on the heels of Runneth Over’s announcement of their other new, permanent drive-thru location, which will be situated at 6871 West Park Avenue in Houma with a tentative opening date later this October. Read more here.

“About two weeks after we started planning our new drive-thru location, the manager of Jeaux on the Geaux reached out to me to see if I would be interested in taking over the operation of the diner,” explained Nikki Ingram, founder and owner of Runneth Over. “At first I was extremely nervous about it with the opening of our other permanent location, but in the end, it was the right time and we’re all very excited.”

Jeaux on the Geaux is located at 113 Linda Ann Ave in Gray, and currently offers a variety of pastries, diner food, coffee, and more. As “Runneth Over Cafe,” the location will now serve the delicious coffee found in Runneth Over’s popular coffee trucks, alongside the original pastries and famous beignets. Jeaux on the Geaux will officially close its doors on October 17, 2024, reopening as Runneth Over Cafe on October 21, 2024.

“This exciting transition allows us to expand our reach, and we feel so humbled and blessed for this opportunity to have not just one, but two permanent spots along with our two mobile units,” continued Ingram. “We can’t wait to serve you in our new home!”
