CIS patient satisfaction ranks in Top 5 percent

For the second and third quarter of 2013, patients rated their satisfaction at Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) in the top 5 percent of all medical practice facilities in the nation, according to Press Ganey and Associates. 

This means that for two consecutive quarters, CIS has achieved the 95th percentile in overall patient satisfaction in the region – Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana – and the national level.

The patient satisfaction scores are based upon survey responses that are sent to patients at random by Press Ganey, a company widely used among health care facilities to survey patients on their interactions and overall experiences at these facilities. Press Ganey works with more than 10,000 health care organizations, including nearly 40 percent of U.S. hospitals to measure and improve their quality of care.
