May 19, 2011The Leadership Lafourche Class of 2010-11 graduates Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Cajun Country Event Center at El Cajun La Mex Restaurant in Raceland.
State Sen. Norby Chabert (D-Dist. 20) is scheduled to give the keynote address.
Graduates of this year’s class include Bryce Autin, Greater Lafourche Port Commission; Ashley Barrios, State Farm Insurance; Jon Callais, Greater Lafourche Port Commission; Archie Chaisson, Lafourche Shrine Club; Cortrell Davis, Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office; Jessica Franck, John Deere; Renee Gautreaux, Bollinger Shipyards; Matt Ledet, T. Baker Smith; Doug Robichaux, State Farm Insurance; Angela Rodrigue, Synergy Bank; Celeste Sanamo, Vision Communications; Greg Sanamo, LeBlanc Sanitation Services; Craig Savoie, Thibodaux Regional Medical Center; and Lori Trotti, John Deere.
The graduation ceremony is open to the public. Tickets are $30 per person; reservations are required.

Leadership Lafourche is a leadership immersion program designed to train cross-sections of Lafourche residents and workers for productive roles focused on the future and well-being of the parish, institutions and communities. The organization graduated its first class in 1993, and has since trained hundreds of people, many of whom have become community leaders.
