Uneeda Cleaners staffers Carrie Charpentier and Balinda Fitch successfully completed the Finishing Procedures in Dry Cleaning course June 20. International Fabricare Institute in Laurel, Md., conducted the course, which explores procedures in dry cleaning and the quality finishing of dry cleanable garments through the use of finishing equipment and aides. It is the first of a long list of continuing education courses and training sessions the pair will attend over the next two years, according to company officials.
