Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet is asking for the public’s help in locating 16-year-old Matthew Raymond Hearn, of Houma.  The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division was made aware of an incident on Tuesday, October 29th, shortly after 12:00pm, when Hearn ran away from staff of the Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS) during a meeting.  The TPSO Patrol Division responded but were unable to locate the juvenile.

The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Victim’s Unit (SVU) is actively investigating the incident, though his location is unknown.  Matthew R. Hearn is described as 5’8″ tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with brown hair, and brown eyes, last seen wearing a navy-colored shirt and tan shorts, carrying a red backpack.  

Hearns has been placed into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) as a missing person.
