Runneth Over, the mobile coffee truck business bringing delicious drinks to the bayou area, has officially opened the doors of their first permanent location.
Runneth Over Café is now open 113 Linda Ann Ave in Gray, the previous location of diner Jeaux on the Geaux. The new café will now serve over 70 delicious flavors of coffee found in Runneth Over’s popular mobile coffee trucks, alongside the original pastries, lunch menu, and famous beignets offered by Jeaux on the Geaux.
“The manager of Jeaux on the Geaux recently reached out to me to see if I would be interested in taking over the operation of the diner,” explained Nikki Ingram, founder and owner of Runneth Over. “At first I was extremely nervous about it with the opening of our other permanent location, but in the end, it was the right time and we’re all very excited.”
Runneth Over Café recently opened Friday, October 25, 2024 for drive through service only, and officially opened their doors to customers today, October 26, 2024 from 7:00 AM-3:00 PM with a limited menu. The café will also be open tomorrow, October 27, 2024 from 8:00 AM-2:00 PM, featuring special pop-ups from Pup-a-licious and Scrub it up Suds.
“This exciting transition allows us to expand our reach, and we feel so humbled and blessed for this opportunity to have not just one, but two permanent spots along with our two mobile units,” continued Ingram. “We can’t wait to serve you in our new home!”
