November 12, 2008The Sample Louisiana Trade Show, sponsored by Cannata’s Food Markets, will feature over 13 vendors during the Atchafalaya Culinary and Arts Festival in downtown Morgan City, November 15th. The Trade Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. under the bridge at Front Street & Greenwood.
Products represented include Kinloch Plantation Pecan Oil, Teche Valley Seafood, Cuddin Eddies, Richard’s Boudin & Andouie, Tony’s Seafood Seasonings, Blend Mack Foods Spice Blends, Zatarians Creole Seasonings, Zapp’s Potato Chips, Community Coffee, Russell’s Seasoning Blends, LLC Dry Seasoning, Uncle Bill’s Creole File, and Republic National Distribution Company.
Cooking Demonstrations, food and wine tasting and recipes will be available.
Morgan City Main Street is hosting the 1st ever Atchafalaya Culinary & Arts Festival from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in downtown Morgan City. The day will begin with Sample Louisiana, a Trade Show of Louisiana Food Products sponsored by Cannata’s Food Market and the La. Dept. of Agriculture & Forestry at 10 a.m. Other events include: two cooking competitions; a team competition and a shrimp cooking contest; cooking demonstrations by students of the John Folse Culinary School at Nicholls State University; cookbook sales at The Frame Shop & Gallery Coffee; an art market sponsored by the Artist Guild Unlimited and the Double Trouble Bridge Race sponsored by the Tri City Track Club. Music by Lil Nathan and the Zydeco Big Timers and Waylon Thibodaux, the rocking fiddler, will highlight the day. This event is sponsored by Morgan City Main Street, Louisiana Main Street, Office of the Lt. Governor, National Park Service, Preserve America, Cajun Coast Visitors & Convention Bureau and the St. Mary Parish Chamber of Commerce.
