CPRA Announces Over $37 million in Grants for Louisiana Coastal Projects
August 23, 2024Kitten season is here, and the Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter is in urgent need of life-saving supplies!
“The spring and summer months are often referred to as ‘Bottle Baby Season’ in the animal shelter world. In order to help the large influx of kittens received during these months, we rely heavily on heating pads and kitten milk,” reads a statement from the Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter. “Supplies like these play a crucial role in helping our fosters provide round the clock care for our vulnerable neonatal population.”
A complete Amazon Wish List for the local shelter, including heating pads and kitten milk, can be found here. Orders from the list can be shipped directly to the shelter, saving your time while still helping local animals. If you love kittens and wish to shelter a bottle baby foster, sign up here.
The shelter also accepts used heating pads. Donations can be physically dropped off at the shelter Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM. If you wish to drop off after hours, donations can be left outside of our doors and a staff member will collect them the following morning.
