October 8, 2024Several student teams from Terrebonne Parish competed at the National Beta Regional Leadership Summit in Lafayette this past week, with all qualifying to compete at the National Convention in Orlando, Florida in 2025.
The 2024-2025 National Beta Regional Leadership Summit provides an opportunity for Betas to experience dedicated leadership training, while networking with other members in their region and competing in various challenges- Collaboration Connection (quick, creative, and critical thinking challenges), Lead Outside the Box (creating a solution to a real-world issue), and Project Proposal (identifying and designing a service project to address a community need).
Alongside the qualifying teams, St. Bernadette student Madison Naquin was selected as Junior Representative and served in the position of honor at this year’s Summit. Another local officer, Houma Christian School student and Louisiana Junior President Delaney Walker, also served in a leadership capacity.
