The Foundation for Terrebonne General Health System announces the appointment of three new board members, Ryan Page, Lucy Watkins, and Kenneth Wood, to the Foundation Board.

 

Ryan Page is a Houma native who graduated from the University of Louisiana with a Bachelor of Science in Fine Arts. He then joined Page & Sons Insurance Agency, becoming a fourth-generation insurance agent specializing in commercial lines. He is currently the Human Resources and Risk Management Director for Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government.

 

Mr. Page is actively involved with the Professional Insurance Agents of Louisiana (PIA) and the Young Insurance Professionals (YIPs), serving as YIPs President in 2021. He serves on various boards in leadership roles, including the Coastal Conservation Association’s Bayou Chapter, the Hache Grant Association, and the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Page previously served for three years on the Terrebonne Parish Recreation District 2-3 Board, contributing to the development of local recreational facilities.

 

Lucy Watkins brings nearly 10 years of healthcare experience to the Terrebonne General Foundation Board. A native of Chicago, she began her marketing and event-planning career at the Chicago White Sox. She relocated to Louisiana in 2014, where she worked as the Corporate Sponsorships and Marketing Manager at Ochsner Health in New Orleans. She then joined Terrebonne General Health System as the Marketing Coordinator, where she became familiar with and passionate about healthcare in our community.

 

She has served on the board of The Haven, where she was co-chair and chair of their annual fundraising gala, Girls on the Run, and the Consultative Board of St. Francis de Sales. Mrs. Watkins has always been passionate about philanthropy and is excited to use her passion for event planning and marketing expertise to further the mission of The Foundation.

 

Kenneth (Kenny) Wood is a Houma local executive who founded K&B Industries. He began his career serving six years in the Louisiana National Guard and later graduated from Delgado Technical Community College, where he studied Machine Tool Technology. In 1974, he opened K&B Machine Works, a full-service machine shop serving the Oil and Gas Industry.

 

Under his leadership, K&B Machine Works evolved into K&B Industries, which services the Energy, Commercial and Military Aviation, and High-Tech Machining markets and is recognized worldwide. Mr. Wood serves on various boards in leadership roles, including as the CEO and Chairman of K&B Industries  Board of Directors, Fletcher Technical Community College Chancellor’s Consultant Circle, and Ava Maria University Board Member. He has also volunteered his time to champion the advancement of Nicholls State University’s Maker Space program.

 

The 2024-2025 Foundation for Terrebonne General Health System Executive Board, Paul Labat, Board Chair; Tiffany Adams, Vice Chair; Mike Lewis, Secretary; Jay Walker, Treasurer and Executive Director, Elmy Savoie welcomes these new board members.
