Thibodaux High School won the boys’ basketball state championship last year.
Now, it’s one of the school’s top teachers who’s in contention to bring home a statewide crown.
Dream Teachers announced today that Thibodaux High School teacher Brittany Legendre is a finalist for the 2020 Louisiana State Teacher of the Year Award – one of a handful from around the state to earn the honor.
Legendre is a science teacher at Thibodaux High.
By being named a finalist, Legendre will be able to attend a ceremony with the 17 other finalists at the Governor’s Mansion in Baton Rouge.
