July 23, 2007Several drug offenders were awakened by members of the Thibodaux Police and Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office task force Friday morning.
With arrest packets in hand, officers visited each residence as part of an ongoing undercover operation known as “Safe Summer,” said Sgt. Laura Guise, spokeswoman for the Thibodaux Police. Ten of the 17 violators were arrested without incident. Guise said the operation will continue until the remaining seven are apprehended.
The Thibodaux offenders arrested were:
• Lance Ayzinne, 22, of 1423 Lynn St., Apt. F, distribution of CDS 1 (bond $20,000);
• Janay R. Smith, 21, of 335 Nora T. Lane, distribution of CDS II (bond $20,000);
• Rodney P. Guidroz, 22, of 1015 General Nicholls St., Apt. B, two counts of distribution of marijuana (bond $20,000);
• Darrel Jackson, 17, of 619 Poplar St., Apt. B, distribution of CDS 1 and principle to distribution of CDS II (bond $20,000);
• Pharonte Robertson, 18, of 1336 Midland Dr., four counts of distribution of CDS 1, one count of distribution of CDS II and one count of drug-free zone violation (bond, $105,000);
• Dwayne Davis, 19, of 1714 Barbier St., illegal distribution of prescription drugs, distribution of CDS IV, drug-free zone violation (bond $20,000);
• Damon Robinson, 22, of 584 Fredrick Drive, two counts of distribution of CDS II (bond $20,000);
• Johnton Coleman, 18, of 113 North 13th St., distribution of CDS I (bond $5,000);
• Christen Fletcher, 18, of 467 Karla Drive, distribution of CDS I (bond $10,000);
• Jamal Tillman, 18, of 1401 Plantation Road, resisting arrest and gambling in public (bond $750);
• Sherrick Every, 19, of 1121 Henderson St., reckless operation of a motor vehicle and resisting arrest. He was issued a misdemeanor summons and released.
