Three Lafourche Parish schools named State Champions at LMEA Marching Band Competition

One parish, three state champions!

 

Earlier this week, high school marching bands from across the state of Louisiana came together to compete at the Louisiana Music Educators Association (LEMA)’s State Marching Championships at McNeese State University.

 

Lafourche Parish’s representation swept the competition, with E.D. White High School named 3C State Champions, South Lafourche High School named 4C State Champions, and Central Lafourche High School named 5C Champions. 

 

 

The results for the three champions are as follows:
