Seven Houma residents were arrested Saturday at a house on St. Louis Canal Road for drug law violations, according to the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Following up on tips, detectives went to 1987 St. Louis Canal Rd., said Capt. Malcolm Wolfe. Once there, he said the detectives saw things that let them to believe illegal drugs were on the premises.

When agents conducted a search of the home, they found 16.54 grams of crack cocainenvalued on the street at $3,308 n and approximately 11.4 grams of marijuana, which carry a street value of $68.40, he said.

Wolfe said the following people were arrested:

• David McErachern, 72, of 1987 St. Lois Canal Rd., on possession of CDS II (crack), possession of CDS IÜ (marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia;

• Steven Eschete, 50, of 305 Maple Ave., possession of CDS II (crack), possession of CDS IÜ(marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, and simple obstruction;

• Leslie LeBlanc, 34, of 129 Everette Dr., possession of CDS II (crack), possession of CDS IÜ(marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia;

• Michael Marshall, 49, 143 Prince Collins, possession of CDS II (crack), possession of CDS IÜ (marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia;

• Katrina Porche, 26, 1303 Robert Dr., possession of CDS II (crack), possession of CDS IÜ(marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia;

• Ron Thomas, 36, 217 Cherbourg St. Houma, possession of CDS II (crack), possession of CDS IÜ (marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia;

• Leslie Jefferson, 36, 307 Boykin St., possession of CDS II (crack), possession of CDS IÜ(marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wolfe said all of the suspects were booked into the Terrebonne Parish Jail in Ashland. They remain jailed on $50,000 bond each, he said.
