A spokesperson with the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office confirmed to the Times that around 10:48 a.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2020, TPSO and Houma Police Department responded to a call about a person in distress atop the Dularge Bridge in Houma.
The bridge was closed for a period of time while responding agencies assisted the person to safety and was reopened shortly thereafter.
