April 16, 2015Bad weather has postponed work on a water line at N.J. Theriot Road until next Tuesday.
The work, which was being done by the Lafourche Parish Water District, was scheduled for today. But it will now be done April 21 at 1 p.m.
The delay is because of bad weather, which has swept through the area and has created difficult work conditions.
Officials estimate the same two-hour period without water that afternoon.
This water line installation will affect all of N.J. Theriot Road and streets off of N.J. Theriot Road. A.J. Estay Road will not be affected.
No boil water advisories are anticipated, as this is a controlled closure and not a break in the line.
