Jan Yakupzack was recently promoted to Assistant Executive Director of the Houma Terrebonne Housing Authority.
She has been employed with the Houma Terrebonne Housing Authority since July 30, 2001. Jan later became a Housing Manager and moved on to Administrative Supervisor 2. She served as interim Executive Director after being approached by the Board of Directors until a permanent director could be found.
Jan was awarded a commendation by Executive Director Wayne Thibodeaux on May 25, 2006 for her outstanding service to the agency.
She was also chosen as Houma Terrebonne Housing Authority first “Employee of the Quarter” in March of 2007. This award is voted on by all employees.
Jan has served on the Housing Authority Insurance Group national risk control committee for several years. She is admired by her co-workers and colleagues for her professional and even temperament and is recognized for her excellent work and accomplishments in this agency.
