Adam Hebert, 79, died at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2007.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Assembly of God Church in Raceland, LA. A religious service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Barrios Cemetery in Valentine, LA.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Gertrude Rodrigue Hebert; his son, Keith Hebert; his foster son, Bobby Creel; his daughters, Charlene, Phyllis and Elizabeth Hebert Morrow and husband, Scott; his foster daughter, Tammy Crowder and husband, Robert; his sisters, Elsie Brassette; his grandchildren, Michelle Bates, Justin and Christopher Hebert, Scott James, Dawn Marie and Adam Morrow, Joseph, Blaine and Dustin Crowder, and Tiffany Creel; and his great-grandchildren, Haley and Tyler Bates.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anatole and Lorentine Hebert; his brothers, Clarence, Herbert, Lawrence, Claude and Norman Hebert; and his sisters, Virgis Naquin and Ethel Arabie.
He was a parishoner of the Assembly of God Church in Raceland.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
