Addie B. Van Ness, 97, a native of New Waverly, Texas, and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula Van Ness; daughter-in-law, Verna Van Ness; one granddaughter, Roxanna Waltman; two grandsons, Kennith Jr. and Terry Van Ness; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Van Ness; parents, Frank and Nannie Daniels Bell; son, Kennith Van Ness Sr.; one grandson, Thomas A. Van Ness; three brothers, Luby, Leon and Lawrence Bell; and five sisters, Frankie, Lillie, Nannie, Idi Maude and Mollie.
