Postal service woes could cost Morgan City facility

Addis Joseph Meacham Jr., 68, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Des Allemands, La., died Friday, Feb. 17, 2012.
Mr. Meacham was a retired school teacher.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Betty Meacham; mother, Jennie Verrett; son, Addis Meacham III; and brothers, Myron and Donald Meacham.
He was preceded in death by his father, Addis Meacham Sr.; and sisters, Patricia and Susan Meacham.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Paradis, La., with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Des Allemands. (Samart-Mothe)
