Adeline Lapeyrouse Soudelier, 76, a native of Chauvin, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Friday, January 9, at 1:58 a.m.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Leroy John Soudelier; sons, Lanny and fiancé Morgan, Carl and wife Deborah, and Jace Soudelier; sister, Viley Picou; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Modeste Cunningham Lapeyrouse; daughter, Carliss Soudelier; brothers, Levis, Alvin, Joe, Walter and Waldron Lapeyrouse; and sister, Cornelia (Kedil) Dupre.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 380, the Knights of Columbus Council Auxiliary 5013 in Chauvin, Catholic Daughters of America and a past member of the Marine Corp League. She was a parishioner of St. Francis Cathedral.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, January 12, at St. Francis Cathedral with mass to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis II Cemetery.
