Adrien Roland “Skee” Roger, 97, a native of Bourg, La., and a resident of Des Allemands, La., died Friday, July 27, 2007.
He is survived by one son, Marvin Roger and his wife Patricia Frickey Roger; one daughter, Yvette Roger; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Dufrene Roger; his parents, Seraphin and Josephine LeCompte Roger; six brothers, Aubry, Noble, Kirby, Alfred and Dallas Roger; one infant brother; and three sisters, Josephine “Belle” Matherne, Valerie Bascle and Lucretia Hornsby.
Adrien was a member of the V.F.W., the American Legion, and the Fourth & Eighth.
Visitation is Tuesday, July 31, 2007, from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Gertrude Catholic Church. He will be buried in the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
