Agnes Gremillion Gautreaux, 85, a native of Larose, La., and a resident of Bourg, La., died Tuesday, January 08, 2008, at 5:40 a.m.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Prejean and Morgan Gisclair; one daughter, Annette Naquin; one brother, E.J. Gremillion, Jr.; two sisters, Joyce Mostyn and Lois Savoie; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert J. Gautreaux; parents, E.J. “Papa Joe” Gremillion Sr. and Stella Ledet Gremillion; one daughter, Stella “Suzie” Trahan; two brothers, Irving and Dudley “Blanc” Gremillion; and two sisters, Wina Terrebonne and Grace Gremillion.
Visitation is Wednesday, January 9, 2008, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Thursday, January 10, 2008, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Knights of Columbus in Chauvin, La. The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 10, 2008, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. She will be buried in the church cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
