Agnes Hebert

Agnes Loupe Hebert, 87, a native of Bayou Lafourche, La., and resident of Chauvin, La., died at 11:26 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2011.

Mrs. Hebert was a cook for the Terrebonne Parish School Board. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Ivy Hebert; son, Marvin (Francine) Dupre; stepsons, Robert, Errol and Ivy Jr. Hebert; daughters, Lucille (Jimmy) Shadell, Yvonne Trahan and Iona (Vincent) Gray; stepdaughter, Evelyn LeBoeuf; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Abel and Percy Loupe; 11 step-grandchildren; and 13 step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eves and Edna Griffin Loupe; first husband, Whitney Dupre; son-in-law, Horace Trahan; grandchild, Michael Shadell; brothers, Adam, John and Claude Loupe; sister, Marie Barrios; stepson, Kenneth Hebert; two step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.

She is buried at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.
