Alice Paray, 69, a native of Amelia, La., and resident of Lafayette La., died Wednesday, August 10, 2011.

Mrs. Paray retired from One Hour Martinizing after 35 years of devotion. A loyal 49ers fan, she adored watching Joe Montana and later Tom Brady play. She is survived by her sons, Clint Abshire, James Mitchell and Danny Davis; brother, Bill (Lela) Paray; sisters, Carrie (Wilbert) Lange, Emily (Rodnis) Thibodeaux, Martha (Chip) Overbay and Julie Paray; sister-in-law, Patricia Paray; 10 grandchildren; Shantell, Kaitlyn, Lara, Colby, Corie, Cody, Courtney, Connor, Elizabeth and Chloe; four great-grandchildren, Lannie, Peyton, Jaelyn and Logan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Alice Fryou Paray; son, Gabriel Abshire; and two brothers, Lennis and Harry Paray.

She is buried at St. Andrew’s Cemetery in Amelia. (Hargrave)
