Allen Louis Buquet Jr., 64, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011.
Mr. Buquet was an active member in the construction of Veterans Park. He loved to race, and rebuild old cars, trucks and motorcycles. He was a member of His House Tabernacle and employed Patterson Offshore.
He is survived by his wife, Marian Buquet; daughter, Tammy (Clinton Sr.) Boquet; brother, David Buquet; sister, Laura (Robert) Price; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Rose Buquet; daughter, Rachel Buquet; and stepmother, Elvira Theriot.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, and 8:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at Chauvin Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial will be at St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
