Alma “Pete” Aucoin Daigle, 98, a native of Napoleonville, La. and resident of Paincourtville, La., died at 11:50 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2007.
She is survived by one son, Paul Daigle Jr. of Paincourtville; three daughters, Rose Mary Landry and husband, C.B., of Port Allen, Gloria Daigle of Paincourtville, and Dorothy Boudreaux and husband, Larry, of Napoleonville; eight grandchildren, Cindy Coburn and husband, Kenneth, Darrell Landry and fiancee’, Frances McDonald, of Port Allen, La., Aaron Landry and wife, Janet, of Port Allen, La., Karen Gomez and husband, Floyd, of Baton Rouge, La., Dawn Toups and husband, George, of Thibodaux, La., Lori Gaudet and husband, Wayne, of Hester, La., Colette Plauche’ and husband, Jason, of Gonzales, La., and Beth Boudreaux of Napoleonville; one step-grandchild, Christy Gaudet of New Orleans, La.; 14 great-grandchildren, Kaci Daigle and husband, Joe, Darren Landry and Chad Landry, all of Port Allen, Erika Coburn and Tanner Coburn, Cody Bordelon of Baton Rouge, La., Reece Mabile, Ross Mabile and Tori Mabile, all of Hester, Abbie Plauche’ and Maggie Plauche’, both of Gonzales, Nicholas Toups of Thibodaux, and Christy Landry and Jonhan Landry, both of Charlotte, N.C.; three step-great-grandchildren, Jaema Reeves and husband, Jeremy, Vincent Gomez and Gabriel Gomez, all of Az.; two great-great-grandchildren, Kailey Wolf and Blaize Daigle, both of Port Allen, La.; and one step-great-great-grandchild, Isa Bella Reeves of Az.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Daigle Sr.; and her parents, Albert and Donatile LeBlanc Aucoin.
Pallbearers will be her son, grandsons and great-grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to the fund for Assuring the Legacy of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and School, P.O. Drawer 1, Paincourtville, LA 70391.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
