Alvin “Good Baby” Hogan, 73, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of New Orleans, La., died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, at Touro Infirmary in New Orleans.

Mr. Hogan was Baptist.

He is survived by his son, Aaron Triggs; daughters, Annette Johnson and Hester Carter; sister, Geneva (Adam) Toussaint; brother, Thomas (Victoria) Hogan; one godson; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland Sr. and Flavia Hogan; brothers, Cleveland II, Eugene and Edward Hogan; sisters, Gracie David, Aretha Charles, Edna Chisley, Dorothy Gale, Mary Morris and Martha Tucker; and one great-granddaughter, Shaniyah Faith Duncan.

He is buried at Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery in Raceland.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
