January 18, 2010Amanda Hoosier, 34, a native of Morgan City, La., and a resident of Patterson, La., died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010.
She is survived by her parents, Robert and Celemin Hoosier; brother, Mathew Hoosier; sister Angel (Dennis Jr.) Matherne; and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Louis Credeur and Gilbert Hoosier.
She enjoyed spending time with her nephews who she loved very much. She also enjoyed anything that had to do with wolves from watching them on television, looking at pictures, collecting figurines of them or just reading about them. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at Bayou Vista Baptist Church.
Twin City Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
