Amanda Mae “Rose” Baber, 91, a native of Giddings, Tx., and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, August 9, at 6:10 a.m.
She is survived by her son, Ray Baber Jr.; daughters, Donna Parr, Roseann Underdonk, and Tina LeBlanc; 14 siblings; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, B.A. Ditto; second husband, Ray Baber Sr.; parents, Earnest and Martha Mitschke; and son, Dan Ditto Sr.
She was a parishioner of Grace Lutheran Church, a member of Eastern Star and the Wednesday Bridge Club.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, at Grace Lutheran Church with the funeral to follow. She will be buried at St. Francis II Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
