Ames Joseph Landry, 65, a native of Franklin, La., and resident of Jeanerette, La., died at 12:40 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2012.
Mr. Landry was a generous and caring man who helped people in whatever way he could.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Landry; stepsons, Ray and Travis Charpentier; siblings, Harriet Cervantes, Maxine Ashley and Roselyn and Terry Landry; nine step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Valla Landry; and stepdaughter, Angela Boykin.
Burial was at Perpetual Park Cemetery. (Ibert’s)
