Behind basin restoration, Maloz leads
October 24, 2011Anatole “Nat” Martin, 83, a native and resident of Napoleonville, La., died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011.
Mr. Martin was an Endowment Member of the National Rifle Association, a Life Member of the Louisiana State Firemen’s Association, a member of the Napoleonville Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the American Legion, Oncale-Solar Post # 88. His hobbies included woodworking, hunting and genealogy.
He is survived by his son, Anatole Jr. (Joyce) Martin; daughters, Yvonne (Charlie) Clement, Marie Cancienne and Linda (Terry) LeBlanc; brother, Frank Martin; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Martin; parents, Alphonse and Sidonia Martin; and son, Alphonse Martin Jr.
Interment was at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Napoleonville. (Landry’s)
